Import from files

Bring in the Markdown or text files you already have; each one becomes a document.

1. 1

   Drop the files

   On an empty Knowledge page, drop .md or .txt files on the box, or click it to choose them — up to 20 at a time.

2. 2

   Wait for the import

   Each file is tagged and saved. A file over 1 MB, or one that isn't Markdown or text, is left out and named.

3. 3

   Check the documents

   Open each one and fix anything the import got wrong.
